Oh, Hi!
I am so thrilled to be writing this, because it means that TRAC is finally ready to launch. I am even more thrilled that you're reading it!
So, let's get acquainted. I am an avid traveler and architecture addict. I earned my Bachelors of Architecture here in San Francisco and quickly got comfortable at a firm designing highrises and headquarter offices in Downtown. I'm on the path to licensure and plan to finish my final California exam this year.
In the last quarter-century or so, I've travelled to multiple cities throughout 15 countries, and 18 states. One day, I plan on seeing all 50 states, and a whole lot more of the world. I couldn't tell you where has been my favorite, but I can tell you how in-love I've fallen with the places I've been, and which you shouldn't miss if you're in the area. Today, I'm planning a trip to Spain, but my next trip I hope is throughout South America -- suggestions welcome.
Enough about me, now onto TRAC.
TRAC, the Travel Record of Architecture and Culture, came about when planning the next great adventure and I wanted to find a resource with contemporary, modern, and historic architecture in one place, mapped out. I read every "Top 10 Places to See" list there is for my next trip, but they're so redundant, and skip so many modern and contemporary gems. So, please follow along as I show you the places I'm desperate to see while out-and-about.
